This practice group serves as financial advisor to debtors, creditors and other parties in bankruptcy proceedings, performing investigations of potential avoidance actions, liquidation and solvency analyses and valuations. The Firm's principals have worked on over 1,000 bankruptcies, including Beloit Corporation, Braniff Airways, Continental Airlines, National Gypsum, First Mortgage Investment Association, Shearn Moody, McFadden Interests and WRT.

Marc Schwartz, who leads this practice area, has also served as a Chapter 11 Trustee. Industries involved run the gamut from hydrocarbon production and processing, energy trading, manufacturing, utilities, retail, real estate development, airlines, and mortgage lending.
